Informing he had completed the Marathi translation of Dr. C.D. Deshmukh`s autobiography and handed over it to the publishers. He suddenly met Y. D. Deshmukh, brother of C.D.Deshmukh in Bombay and was handed over some photographs to Patki to include in the book. He was shocked to hear that Dr. C.D.Deshmukh sent the photographs of himself and Durgabai for the book. He was also translating M.C. Chagla's autobiography in Marathi.

Jehangir has made enquiries about Durgabai's health. Also requesting Dr. C.D. Deshmukh to preside over the Annual Heras Memorial Lectures. In return Dr. C.D. Deshmukh replied that he would not be available on those dates and his inability to be the president because of Durgabai's illness
